      LET’S SUMMARIZE FOR A MOMENT. All are sinners and deserving of eternal death. But God loves us and wants us to have eternal life (heaven), and for this reason sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place. Jesus took the punishment I deserve because of my sins. Now God can forgive my sins and give me eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for me and was raised from the dead to be our living Savior.
