Are you visiting our web site? New entries, including THE SOWER, weekly THE COMMON DENOMINATOR
An elementary lesson in math is that in order to
combine fractions, all must be reduced to a “common denominator,” such as to add
˝ and 1/3 they must be changed to 6/12 and 4/12, totaling 10/12 or 5/6. Jesus
prayed for the unity of all believers (John 17:21). But our unity is not found
in any denominational system. Tying two cats’ tails together may be a union,
but it certainly is not unity. Nor is unity the artificial merging of churches
as churches water down their teachings, compromising convictions. The common
denominator is Christ. The message this Sunday a.m.: “The Unity of All Creation.” THE ARTHUR CHURCH OF CHRIST415 W. 4th Street in Arthur
