Do you
ever
feel an
emptiness
in your
life? It
may be
in your
family
relationships,
or it
may be
in the
realm of
religion.
The
missing
ingredient
in many
lives is
Jesus
Christ.
He can
and will
fill the
gaps if
we let
Him.
While
the
world
seeks
riches,
power
and
pleasure
to fill
the
void,
these
are
found
woefully
deficient.
So also
is
religion
if it is
without
Christ.
God’s
word
provides
that
which
leads to
the
fulfilled
life.
Believers
are
urged,
“As
newborn
babes,
desire
the
sincere
milk of
the word
that ye
may grow
thereby.”
Many are
more
satisfied
with the
“fables
and
commandments
of men,
that
turn
from the
truth” (
Titus
1:14).
We are
called
to
discipleship
in
baptism
and
instruction
to
“observe
all
things”
the Lord
has
commanded
(Matthew
28:18-19).
If your
“Christianity”
is just
a
religion,
it’s a
burden;
but if
your
commitment
is to
Christ,
He will
lift
your
burdens
and give
you
fulfillment
and joy.
Only He
can fill
the gaps
and make
your
life
complete.
The
message
this
Sunday
a.m.:
“Is
He
Filling
the
Gaps?”
